Monster Box!

I decided that I wanted to try to make a 3D cut from one of my cartridges, and since it was a little before Halloween that I decided this, I thought a monster box would be Great!!
I used a 12x12 Die Cuts With a View (DCWV) purple paper from the Neutrals pack.  I used the fit to page key on my Cricut Expression so I could get the biggest box possible.  I used The Paper Company's Value packs for the layers on the box, the handles, eyes, mouth, stomach and the tip of the tail. I used a My Pink Stamper stamp from her "Spooky Puns"set, with a Stampin' Up! Classic, Basic Black, stamp pad to add a sentiment to the monster's stomach. Then I scored the box in the indicated areas, folded it up and "glued" it together using my ATG gun.
I really liked how this turned out.  I haven't figured out exactly what to do with it yet but for now it sits on my desk and holds my Cricut spatula.
This is definitely only the start of my 3D crafting!

Grimm Reaper!

I made this card to give to a couple of good friends for Halloween.

ALL cardstock is from The Paper Company's value packs. I started with a 5 1/2"x 8 1/2" piece of purple cardstock and folded it in half for the base of my card.  Then, for my first layer, I cut a piece of black cardstock at 5 1/4"x 4".  I cut a piece of orange cardstock at 5"x 3 3/4" and added a piece of purple polka dotted grosgrain ribbon and secured it on the back using regular Scotch tape.  Then I attached it to the black card stock using my ATG gun and then attached the whole thing to the base of the card using my ATG gun. I used the "Mini Monsters" cartridge with my Cricut Expression to cut the Grimm Reaper.  I cut him at 3 1/2" and added a shadow to him to add a little more to it and to make it stand out more.  I secured the ghost to my card using 3D-Dots to make it pop off of the page, making it the main focal point. Then to finish off my card I used a My Pi…

Monkey Birthday!

I made this card for our friends' son's 1st birthday!!!  I know we all love firsts!!!  His party was jungle theme and they call him their little monkey so I though a monkey would be perfect for his card. ALL cardstock is from The Paper Company's value packs. I started with a 5 1/2"x 8 1/2" piece of green cardstock and folded it in half for the base of my card.  Then, for my first layer, I cut a piece of blue cardstock at 5 1/4"x 4".  I layered a piece of yellow cardstock that was cut at 5 1/4"x 2" on the bottom half of the blue cardstock using my ATG gun.  I covered up the "seem" of where the papers meet with a piece of green ribbon with monkeys on it and secured it on the back using regular Scotch tape.  I attached the whole thing to the base of the card using my ATG gun. I used the "Create a Critter" cartridge with my Cricut Expression to cut the Monkey.  I cut him at 3 1/2".  I secured the monkey to my card us…

Pooh Birthday!

I made this card for my niece's birthday this year.  I used the Pooh and Friends Cricut cartridge to make this card.  This card is actually the project that they tell you how to make in the booklet that comes with the cartridge, so I'm not going to go in to detail on how I made it.  I did cut everything 1" smaller then you are told to in the book. ALL paper is from The Paper Company's Value packs.
For my sentiment I used a stamp from My Pink Stamper's Birthday Crazy set with a Stampin' Up! Classic Chocolate Chip stamp pad.

LadyBug Birthday!

I made this card a while ago for my sister-in-law's birthday, I just never got a chance to post it, so I am now. ALL paper is from The Paper Company's Value Packs.
I started out with a piece of 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" brown cardstock, and folded it in half for the base of my card.  For my first layer I used a piece of black cardstock cut at 5 1/4" x 4".  I then layered a piece of light blue cardstock cut at 2 1/2" x 3 3/4" on the top half of the black and a piece of green cardstock cut at 2" x 3 3/4" on the bottom half of the black, I attached them both using my ATG gun.  Then I wrapped a piece of brown grosgrain ribbon around the whole thing to cover the "seem" where the two pieces met and secured it on the back using regular Scotch tape.   Then I used my ATG gun to attach the whole thing to the base of the card.
I cut my ladybug at 3 1/2" from the "Create a Critter" cartridge using my Cricut Expression.  I attached it to …
